About the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas

Located inside the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas is the Lehigh Valley's premiere destination for independent film!

It's a 2-screen independent cinema, and because it's an "alehouse" you can purchase beer, wine & cocktails to take with you into your movie! ArtsQuest Members receive $2.50 off cinema tickets.

For your pre, during and post-film enjoyment, the Mike & Ike Bistro is serving up delicious beverages, meals and snacks!

Saturday Late Night

Every Saturday night the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas will do something a little different, a little crazy and, usually, a little fun. Not only will we screen some of the best cult, comedy and horror films, we'll even throw in some live comedy and some comedy/film mashups!

The Rocky Horror Picture Show
1975 R, 1 hr. 40 min. Language: English

THE cult classic... there is no other film quite like Rocky Horror and there never will be. This timeless film is best screened at midnight and we were more than happy to bring this tradition back to the Lehigh Valley.

Screenings for 2014 will be held on the last Friday of the month.

Fri 1/31, 2/28, 3/28, 4/25, 5/30, 6/27, 7/25

Cinema 101 Series

The FBAC may have made the transition to full digital over the summer, but we've kept one of our 35mm projectors! We'll screen a celluloid classic every first Monday of the month, with Cinema Committee members Michael Kramp (of Lehigh University) and Tim Molchany (of NCCC) there to lead a talkback after each screening.

Tuesday Talkbacks

Tuesday Talkbacks with Prof. Kilker

Prof. Robert Kilker, a Bethlehem resident, has a Ph.D. from Lehigh University, where he studied Film & Popular Culture, along with Twentieth-Century American Literature. Each week he leads a talkback about one of our features. There's no extra cost; we'll simply start talking once the credits start rolling!

Tuesday Talkbacks feature film are noted with a* in the features section above.
