Hello volunteers!

This month I thought we would switch it up and share some events that are happening in PA! I feel I miss a lot of great events because I don’t know about them, so my goal is to find ones you’ve never heard of. I hope you enjoy this new page!

Peddlers Village: https://peddlersvillage.com/event/grand-illumination-celebration/

Grand Illumination Celebration:November 17th

The Village lights up on Friday, November 17! Join us at 6:15 p.m. sharp as Santa and Mrs. Claus flip the switch to illuminate Peddler’s Village. Enjoy musical and dance performances by local groups as well as sing-alongs with Santa. The holiday lights will be on display every evening through January 14, 2024. Shops will be open until 10 p.m. Free admission and parking.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a very popular event, so please plan to arrive early, as traffic delays can be expected, and parking can reach full capacity. We would advise against bringing dogs to this event as the pathways become congested. If you miss this event, don’t worry! The Village is lit up in full holiday splendor with a million colorful lights every evening through January 14, 2024.

Koziar’s Christmas Village: https://koziarschristmasvillage.com/

Opening Night November 4th

William M. Koziar, the creator of Christmas Village, began decorating his home and property in 1948 for the pleasure that he and his wife, Grace, and their four children derived from the unusual display. People appreciated and applauded the beauty of the Koziar’s home and began to refer to it as the “The Christmas House.”

Today Koziar’s Christmas Village has grown to a regional and national phenomenon with third and fourth generations of families making the magical trek to view the stunning lights.

Hours: FRI. 6 PM – 9 PM; *SAT. 5 PM – 10 PM; SUN. 5 PM – 9 PM
