ARTSQUEST ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS
Nicole Harrell joins the team at a pivotal time as the organization gears up for a return to large events and arts programming.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – ArtsQuest has named Nicole Harrell as the organization’s new Director of Communications. Harrell brings a decade of experience in television journalism, as well as tourism and nonprofit marketing, to this new role.
Harrell most recently led digital marketing at PBS39, the Lehigh Valley’s public media station. Prior to this role, Harrell served as the station’s Public Relations and Promotions Manager. Previous to that, Harrell worked as the Marketing and Communications Manager for Visit Bucks County, the nonprofit marketing agency for Bucks County, Pa. Before relocating to Pennsylvania, she served as the first Digital Marketing Manager for WAVE 3 News, the NBC affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky (part of Raycom Media, now Gray Television). She also spent time in front of the camera and behind the scenes in news and sports with WHAS-TV (ABC Louisville), ESPNU and LEX 18 News (NBC Lexington).

Harrell will be the primary point of contact for all of ArtsQuest’s internal and external communications needs. Harrell and the team will develop strategies, outreach and messaging to preserve ArtsQuest’s rich history and brand and promote future programs and initiatives.

Harrell earned her BA in Journalism and Communications from the University of Kentucky and has a Women in Leadership Certificate from Cornell University. She is also an active member of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business Council board of directors and marketing committee.
