Formed in London, The FIXX released its first album, Shuttered Room, in 1982 and went on to produce hits such as “One Thing Leads to Another,” “Red Skies,” “Saved by Zero” and “Stand or Fall.” Its most recent album, Beautiful Friction, was released in 2012.

Gene Ween to Open for Modest Mouse During Yuengling Summer Concert Series Show at SteelStacks July 20
Gene Ween of experimental, alternative rock group Ween has been added to the lineup for Modest Mouse’s July 20 Yuengling Summer Concert Series performance at SteelStacks. Tickets for the concert, which takes place 7:30 p.m. at the Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks, are $45 in advance and $49 day of show; they can be purchased at steelstacks.org and 610-332-3378.
Aaron Freeman, better known by his stage name Gene Ween, co-founded the band Ween with childhood friend Dean Ween (Mickey Melchiondo) in New Hope, PA in 1984. Over the past few years, Freeman has embarked on a solo career, releasing Marvelous Clouds in 2012 and FREEMAN in 2014.
