Between 1920 and 1933, the Noble Experiment, more commonly known as Prohibition, was the law of the land. These trying years also gave birth to the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl. Despite, or perhaps because of trying economic conditions and social political upheaval, art and culture as well as creative entrepreneurism exploded in America.
