Rick Braun

This will be Rick's first public performance in the area in which he grew up. Born in Allentown, the songwriter, composer and trumpet player, now a resident of Los Angeles, has been delighting fans with his jazz sounds for decades. While attending the Eastman School of Music, Braun formed the jazz fusion band Auracle. His first solo recording, Intimate Secrets, was released in 1993, and his 1996 release, Body and Soul, featured the hit "Notorious."

During his career, Braun has collaborated with Boney James and performed with artists such as Rod Stewart and Sade. He also co-wrote REO Speedwagon's hit "Here with Me," featured on the band's 1988 record The Hits. Braun's most recent release is 2012's Swingin' In The Snow. Tickets for his Musikfest Cafe performance, a special Boscov's Berks Jazz Fest preview concert, are $28-$42.
