BETHLEHEM, PA—As a way of giving back to our Armed Forces members who have given so much to protect our nation over the years, Embassy Bank is offering active and retired military personnel the opportunity to receive a free pair of VIP Balcony Tickets to the Dec. 2, noon, performance of the new "Christmas 1944" musical revue at the ArtsQuest Center. The offer is open to the first 50 current or former Armed Forces members who visit the box office at the ArtsQuest Center, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem, starting Nov. 11 at noon. Retired and active military personnel can take advantage of the special offer by showing a valid military ID or discharge papers at the box office.

"Our military gives 365 days out of the year, so it is our honor to be able to give something back, and to celebrate all they do this holiday season," says Dave Lobach Jr., CEO, President and Chairman of Embassy Bank. "We encourage all our local veterans and current troops to come out and enjoy the show Christmas 1944."

A heart-warming musical written and directed by Deena Linn, Christmas 1944 tells the story of three women and their journey for hope, love and Christmas spirit during World War II. These women include a mother with a son fighting in Europe, a wife working at Bethlehem Steel until her husband returns, and a young girl who finds love for the first time. With Christmas classics such as "White Christmas" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," this is a memorable show that is a "must-see" for the holiday season.

Military personnel who attend Christmas 1944 also have the option of purchasing the special holiday lunch that is offered with the performance. Cost for the meal is $29 per person and includes house salad with roasted peppers, English cucumbers and blistered tomatoes; a duet of grilled lemon chicken with Kennett Square mushroom sauce and petite medallion of beef with Dijon pan jus; roasted fingerling potatoes; French green beans; and warm apple pie with caramel sauce and vanilla whipped cream.

Additional Christmas 1944 performances will take place Dec. 9 and 10 at noon. Tickets for all three performances are on sale now at www.artsquest.org and 610-332-3378.
