WILSON PHILLIPS, CHAPIN FAMILY, BOOGIE WONDER BAND, AND MORE AT THE MUSIKFEST CAFE

BETHLEHEM, PA—Funk and R&B group Here Come the Mummies, guitar virtuosos The California Guitar Trio & The Montreal Guitar Trio, two nights of Beatles music by Classic Albums Live and a holiday show by Wilson Phillips are among the seven new concerts announced for the Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling, located at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem. Tickets for the concerts will go on sale starting Tues., July 26, 10 a.m., to ArtsQuest Members and Fri., July 29, 10 a.m., to the public. They will be available at www.artsquest.org or by calling 610-332-3378.

Here Come the Mummies - Oct. 8, 8 p.m.

Tickets: $25 Balcony/$20 SRO

Nashville-based funk, R&B and soul band Here Come the Mummies is known for its awesome costumes (yes, they dress like mummies) and funky beats, delighting audiences from coast to coast. The group's single, "Dirty Minds," was featured in the Sony Pictures movie Fired Up.

Boogie Wonder Band – Nov. 4, 8 p.m.

Tickets: $35 Balcony/$30 Cabaret/$25 SRO

The Boogie Wonder Band brings its own twist to the disco era! This group, which serves up a highly danceable mix of disco, funk and pop, has performed around the world, including at Cirque du Soleil and Walt Disney World and for Celine Dion and Donald Trump.

The California Guitar Trio & The Montreal Guitar Trio – Nov. 16, 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: $42 Balcony/$32 Cabaret

Since its inception in 1991, the California Guitar Trio has released 12 CDs: seven studio albums, four live releases (including An Opening Act from its 1995 world tour with King Crimson) and the recent compilation Highlights, featuring its most popular original works, as well classics ranging from Bach and Beethoven to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."

The 'phenomensemble' The Montreal Guitar Trio explores intricate original compositions, as well as new arrangements of progressive rock, jazz, world and classical music. The trio's 2002 Montreal concert, "The Heat of the Day," was nominated for Concert of the Year at the prestigious Prix Opus 2002, celebrating musical excellence in Quebec.

Classic Albums Live: HELP & Hard Day's Night – Nov. 18, 8 p.m.

Classic Albums Live: Abbey Road & Let It Be – Nov. 19, 8 p.m.

Tickets: $40 Balcony/$30 Cabaret

Performing across North America, Classic Albums Live takes classic albums and recreates them live on stage - note for note, cut for cut. The group's stop at the Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling will be a two-day celebration of the Fab Four, as it performs four of The Beatles' classic albums.

Wilson Phillips Holiday Show – Dec. 9, 8 p.m.

Tickets: $50 Balcony/$40 Cabaret

Wilson Phillips' self-titled debut album sold more than 10 million copies worldwide and included three No.1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 - "Hold On," "Release Me" and "You're in Love." This special holiday concert features the recently reunited trio performing its hits, as well as the holiday music featured on its 2010 holiday recording, Christmas in Harmony.

Harry Chapin – A Holiday Celebration in Song – Dec. 10, 8 p.m.

Tickets: $59 Balcony/$49 Cabaret

Join three-time Grammy Award winner Tom Chapin, Clio award winner and former Harry Chapin band leader Steve Chapin and other members of the Chapin family and their friends as the celebrate the life and music of singer-songwriter Harry Chapin. This special concert will also feature the ensemble performing beloved holiday classics.
