Buckcherry & Special Guest Rock Muskifest's Sands Steel Stage Aug 12

BETHLEHEM, PA—Grammy nominated, multi-platinum selling rockers Buckcherry, along with a very special guest to be announced at a later date, will rock the Sands Steel Stage at Musikfest® Aug. 12 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the show, which is sponsored by WZZO 95.1 FM, are $22 and $34 and go on sale starting Tues., May 31, 10 a.m., to ArtsQuest™ Members and Fri., June 3, 10 a.m., to the public. They will be available at www.musikfest.org or 610-332-3378.

After forming in the mid-'90s, Buckcherry released its self-titled debut in 1999 and had an immediate impact on the rock world with notable hits such as "Lit Up," "For The Movies" and "Check Your Head." The group's platinum-selling 2006 release, 15, contained its biggest rock hit yet in "Crazy Bitch," as well as the group's first ever Top 10 hit, "Sorry." 15 went on to spend 98 weeks on Billboard's Top 200, while the group's 2008 follow-up, Black Butterfly, also scored well, debuting at No. 8 on the Billboard charts and becoming a No. 1 rock album. Buckcherry's fifth album, 2010's All Night Long, continued to add to the group's reputation as a major force in rock, reaching No. 10 on the Billboard 200 and hitting No. 3 on the Top Rock Albums charts.

The announcement of the Buckcherry concert completes the Sands Steel Stage lineup for 2011. Other acts scheduled to play Musikfest's largest concert venue include:
