BETHLEHEM, PA—Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Dickey Betts, an Eric Clapton retrospective featuring Craig Thatcher and friends, and a music showcase by the musicians of The Lesson Center are the latest shows announced for the Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling, located at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem. Craig Thatcher & Friends' Eric Clapton Retrospective - March 9, 7:30 p.m.

Join local blues legend Craig Thatcher as he pays tribute to one of rock and blues' legendary artists, Eric Clapton. An Eric Clapton Retrospective features Thatcher and his band performing songs from throughout Clapton's career. Look for classics from The Yardbirds, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith and Derek & The Dominoes, as well as hits from throughout Slowhand's solo career.
The Lesson Center Showcase – April 21, 6 p.m.

The Lesson Center is home to not only some of the Lehigh Valley's best music instructors, but also some of the region's most popular musicians. These talented artists are all coming together on one night to showcase their diversity and talent to their students and the community during The Lesson Center Showcase. With artists that perform everything from jazz to surf rock, this evening is guaranteed to entertain music enthusiasts of all kinds. Performers include This Way to the Egress, June Thomas, Josh Klein, The Big Dirty, Donovan Roberts, AJAR, The Great White Caps, Site Unknown, Exter vs. Kimock and more. Proceeds from this event will go to provide music scholarships to students from throughout the Lehigh Valley.

As a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, guitarist and singer/songwriter Dickey Betts played an integral role in many of the group's biggest hits, including writing and singing "Ramblin' Man" and "Blue Sky," as well as composing the instrumentals "Jessica" and "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed." In 1995 Betts and the group were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2003 Betts was named one of Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. On Feb. 12, Betts and The Allman Brothers Band will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award during the 2012 Grammy Awards.

CABARET SERIES WITH LYNNIE GODFREY FEATURES AN EVENING OF LOVE SONGS FEB. 26
ArtsQuest's popular cabaret series featuring singer and actress Lynnie Godfrey continues Feb. 26, 7 p.m., with "An Evening of Love Songs" in the Fowler Blast Furnace Room of the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks.
"An Evening of Love Songs" features Godfrey, accompanied by pianist Kevin O'Connell and saxophonist Ken Moyer, performing timeless love songs, as well as romantic classics from the Great American Songbook. During the performance, the audience can expect to hear some of the most romantic songs of all time, from the Big Band era right through the '60s.
