Camp week is Monday-Friday:

(Cannot be combined with any other discounts. Does not include glass classes. Purchases must be made via phone in order to redeem discount. If you purchase an additional class at a later date, the discount is not retroactive and will not apply.)
Lunch Breaks & Snacks
Supervised lunch breaks are provided for students enrolled in full-day camps. Please make sure your child brings a bagged lunch (refrigeration available). Per parent/guardian approval, teens may go off site for lunch.
ATTENTION: Please avoid bringing peanut butter, nuts or food products made from these foods to the Banana Factory as a precaution for those with allergies. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Some of our classes are messy so please dress your children appropriately. Glass studio students should refer to page 23 of the catalog for proper clothing requirements.
Parents are encouraged to pack their children a small snack for each class as teachers will take short breaks.
Teachers may take students outdoors during class and breaks with the help of a teaching assistant. Please bring sunscreen and dress students in weather appropriate attire. (*denotes a class with a curriculum that relies on outdoor activities, weather permitting)
Banana Factory summer camp programs may include off-site visits to other locations in the Bethlehem area by foot, van or bus. ArtsQuest requires the written permission of the parent or legal guardian before it will allow any child to take part in these visits.
At the end of each week, one piece of artwork from each student in each class will be displayed in a special "gallery exhibition" during which time we will invite parents, guardians, etc., to come early and view all the students' work on display from that week.
Camps are age appropriate. Please enroll your child in the proper age category to ensure creative success!

Adventures in Clay with Deb Slahta
Jump into this adventure and discover a variety of ceramic handbuilding techniques while learning decorative and functional elements. The possibilities are endless as students take their clay creations to the next level. Glaze Daze is scheduled for students to come back and glaze their work.

Sketchbook/Art Journal Design with Beth Ann Ballek
Start your journey to becoming an artist with a sketchbook. Students learn how to bind their own sketchbooks and fill them with the tools necessary to become well-rounded artists. In this camp, Beth explores different masters of the past and brings them to life in your sketchbook. Students will also incorporate sketches from home on a daily basis.

Art Passport with Beth Ann Ballek
Stamp your passport all over the world of art! Visit a different country each day by creating a different art project based on different cultures. At the end of the week you'll feel as if you've traveled the globe without leaving the building!
NEW! Art Sampler with Instructional Staff
There's a lot to explore in the world of art, which means it can be tough to decide on the medium or class that's right for you. Our Art Sampler program allows you to experience three different art mediums all in one week! Session 1 will include drawing techniques, painting techniques and mosaics. Basic Video Game Design with Jonathan Rotger

Creative Clay with Liz Wheeler
Get creative and messy while you have tons of fun exploring the world of clay. In this camp, participants dig their hands into clay to create three-dimensional creatures and objects using a variety of clay techniques. Glaze Daze is scheduled for students to come back and glaze their work.

Digital Photography with Alistair Durie
Get your cameras ready! In this digital photo camp, students go on photo shoots and explore their surroundings through the digital camera lens, as well as use Adobe Photoshop to alter and distort the images they take during the week. Students leave this camp with prints to last a lifetime. Participants are welcome to bring their own digital camera with which to shoot; however, digital cameras will be provided for students who may need one. *SC13-2014 (Ages 7-9) Session 3: June 24-28 AM Register

Want to discover what to look for to take dynamic photos? In this camp, students go on in-class excursions in search of the perfect photographs. Participants will also learn about composition, light and other digital photo basics. Students are welcome to bring their own digital camera, iPhone or iPad with which to shoot; however, digital cameras will be provided for students may who need one. Mosaic Masterpieces with Kim Hogan
Break into summer by creating a mosaic masterpiece! In this camp, students have a smash as they learn techniques of cutting glass, breaking tiles and grouting. Participants use a variety of materials and are encouraged to bring in small objects from home to incorporate into their art. Shadow Puppet Theater with Liz Magno
Combine your love for art and theater! In this camp, students create their own shadow puppets based on characters from beloved stories or create stories of their own! At the end of the week they'll be able to use their puppets to tell their stories! Participants will also put on their own special shadow puppet performance for family and friends at the end of the week!
Space Race with Beth Ann Ballek
Blast off in this creative crafting camp! Wired Bugs! with Valerie Breaux Haaf
Bugs can look gross, but they make great designs for mini sculptures and jewelry and can easily become beautiful!
