ArtsQuest presents a wide variety of visual arts classes for all skill levels. Our visual arts classes take place at the Banana Factory arts center in Bethlehem, PA.

April 27-28
ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks
You are the story you tell about yourself. If you've ever wanted to write your memoir, finish up one you've started, or add some sparkle to one you've completed,
the Memoir Writing Conference is for you. Eight nationally known writers and artists (Susan Straight,
G. Bruce Boyer, Billy Kounoupis, Scott Sherk, Pat Badt, Carolyn Segal, Marjorie Maddox and Gary Hafer) will help you learn how to tell your story.
A panel of experts including New York Literary agent Betsy Lerner, attorney Karolyn Vreeland Blume and psychologist Dr. Micah Sadigh will help you
deal with the fallout of writing about a life that includes others besides you, and award-winning journalist Bill White, our keynote speaker, will tell you how
and why to include humor in your writing. A premium dinner on Friday, April 27 with Susan Straight and Betsy Lerner kicks off the conference, which begins Saturday
morning, April 28 with a yoga session led by Cat Cappel of West End Yoga to jump start creativity. Novelist Bathsheba Monk will edit and assemble an E-Book of
your writing after the conference.

Banana Factory
In this class, students develop original design concepts and build layouts using HTML & CSS from scratch. This course covers the basics of web design, design principles, page layout and navigation, colors and graphics, and simple forms.
This class is great for anyone that has NO experience with designing a Website!

If you ever wondered just how the people on "Whose Line Is It
Anyway?" make funny things happen so quickly, we can show you!
Joshua Neth, Artistic Director of Allentown Public Theatre and the
Associated Mess Improv Comedy Troupe, leads this 6-session class
breaking down the basics of improv and covering basic acting skills.
This spirited, fun course for ages 16 and up is perfect for those
looking to be more confident on stage or in person!
Cost: $85 ($70 ArtsQuest members)
