The ArtsQuest Foundation was established in 2004. Its mission is to provide long-term support for the programs of ArtsQuest. The foundation is a nonprofit Pennsylvania corporation, which has status as a 501©(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code. The Board of Trustees of the Foundation consists of three members elected by the ArtsQuest Trustees and four members elected at-large. The initial members of the Trustees in 2004 were:

In its first year, the Foundation received gifts and pledges totaling $952,757. The goal of the Foundation is to create opportunities for ArtsQuest donors to provide endowments for arts, cultural and education programs for the community through lifetime or planned gifts.
